The officially licensed mobile game of RWBY features an original story set around the events of Volume 3.
There have been a range of different video games released on mobile platforms. During this, Dale North is set to compose the music for the game, revealing the style to be a Metroidvania genre similar to Shantae. During gameplay, players can control Ruby Rose, Weiss Schnee, Blake Belladonna, and Yang Xiao Long and switch between them during solo or multiple modes. It was also revealed that the game is canonical and set in Volume 7 during the montage sequence in " Sparks", as was written by Kerry Shawcross, Miles Luna, and Eddy Rivas. The game's name was revealed to be "RWBY: Arrowfell" during the RTX at Home RWBY panel.

The game will be available on console and PC from WayFoward and Arc System Works. On September 16th, 2020, it was announced on 2020 that a new RWBY game will be released in 2021. RWBY: Arrowfell is an upcoming RWBY video game developed by Rooster Teeth in association with WayForward and Arc System Works.
